The Bakers' Testimony

Brian and Lynn were both blessed to be raised in Christian homes and be introduced to Jesus and accept Him as Savior at a young age. They met in High School and after graduation attended the Word of Life Bible Institute at the same time. Brian and Lynn got engaged and committed their lives to missions while they were there. God gave both of them a passion for reaching young people right here in America. While many missionaries go overseas, they answered the call to become Area Missionaries with Word of Life. The desire to see young people accept Christ and be discipled burns deep in their lives. In 1998, they moved to Hickory, NC and began their ministry to local churches in Western North Carolina. Their greatest joy in ministry is seeing churches reach out to young people in their community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Brian is heavily involved in teaching and preaching to all age groups and Lynn loves teaching the Olympian children at their home church. The Lord has blessed them with three beautiful children; Courtney, Allison, and Corbin.
